Laura Snapping Scapula Story
Laura is a competitive swimmer and coach who had been struggling with significant shoulder pain that had been keeping her out of the pool and keeping her from achieving her goals. Johnston diagnosed Laura with snapping scapula, a rare condition, and started with a diagnostic injection that provided her complete but temporary relief of her pain. Laura underwent an arthroscopic surgery to remove a small portion of her shoulder blade followed by physical therapy. Laura is now back in the pool completely pain free and back to training.
