NATASHA JONES RT (R)
Natasha has been a member of the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics team for the past 15 years. She graduated in 2004 from WHC School of Medical Imaging in Washington, DC. She is an experienced radiologic technologist, clinical assistant, and clinical supervisor in the office. In addition to helping our clinic run smoothly, she plays a vital role as the study coordinator in our research projects.
She has worked alongside Dr. Johnston since he arrived at the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics and has a developed a strong understanding and interest in the care of shoulder patients. Natasha grew up in Southern Maryland and when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, twins, close family and friends.
SONYA MARINO PA-C
Sonya joined our team in May of 2019 as a board certified Physician Assistant. Sonya was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She attended high school at Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania. From there she moved to San Antonio, TX where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Trinity University. While at Trinity she was a four-year member and team captain of the Division III swim team. After graduation, she spent three years at the University of Texas Health Science Center performing research in cellular and molecular biology. Prior to attending PA School, she worked in the OR at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA and did Volunteer EMS. Sonya completed her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2017.
When she is not in the operating room or at the office seeing patients, Sonya enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their family and friends. Her interests include reading, traveling, sports, and good food.
